Leo trabalha desde 2011 com café especial. Em 2017, foi campeão brasileiro de aeropress. Em 2019, abriu a cafeteria e torrefação Café Ao Leu no Rio de Janeiro, eleito o melhor café do Rio de Janeiro pela Revista Veja Rio. Em 2022, foi eleito o barista do ano pela mesma revista. Comprou um sítio em Caparaó, no Espírito Santo, e sua primeira colheita rendeu a posição de oitavo melhor café do Brasil no concurso Coffee Of The Year 2021. Leo segue divulgando e compartilhando resultados e experiências dos seus estudos com café. Alem de todos esses méritos, Leo também possui diversos talentos como a dança e na época do evento em questão seu hobby era o skate.

Leo has been working with specialty coffee since 2011. In 2017, he was the Brazilian AeroPress champion. In 2019, he opened the Café Ao Leu coffee shop and roastery in Rio de Janeiro, which was named the best coffee shop in Rio de Janeiro by Veja Rio magazine. In 2022, he was named the barista of the year by the same magazine. He bought a farm in Caparaó, Espírito Santo, and his first harvest earned the position of eighth best coffee in Brazil in the Coffee Of The Year 2021 competition. Leo continues to promote and share the results and experiences of his studies with coffee. In addition to all of these merits, Leo also has many talents, such as dancing. At the time of the event in question, his hobby was skateboarding.
